Kira

Kira's source code is provided under the licence in the repository's LICENSE file. The product name and logo are not covered by the code licence.

Kira's 3D character is “Sayuri Dans” by Vasian-Digital3D, licensed CC BY 4.0. Adapted for Kira: smaller WebP textures, demo animation removed, compressed geometry; all movement is generated live by the app. See assets/avatar/AVATAR_NOTICE.md in the repository.

Third-party software

  • Tauri (MIT/Apache-2.0), React (MIT), three.js (MIT), Next.js (MIT), Tailwind CSS (MIT).
  • meshoptimizer (MIT), glTF-Transform (MIT).
  • Transformers.js and ONNX Runtime Web (Apache-2.0/MIT) for optional on-device speech recognition; Whisper model weights (MIT) are downloaded on request.
  • Ollama is separate software installed by you (MIT). Local models carry their own licences, shown before download.

OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, Google/Gemini and Ollama are trademarks of their respective owners. Kira is an independent client and is not endorsed by them. Use of each service is subject to its terms.

Reporting a security issue

Please report vulnerabilities privately as described in SECURITY.md in the repository instead of opening a public issue. Include the version and steps to reproduce. Never include real API keys.
